Todays Gratitude Thoughts.

The Now, The Present.

Hi everyone, I hope you have had your Vitamin `G` today, my Gratitude thoughts today arise from a conversation I was involved in recently regarding the Past, Present, and Future. The people in question were saying how they anticipated this, that or the other for their businesses, and were fed up with things not turning out how they had expected. I entered the conversation with my usual take on things and mentioned the universe as I always do. I said that if they just stopped a minute and realized what they were saying, things might turn out somewhat differently.

When you concentrate too much on the past or the future, you are more likely to miss the Now, the Present, The most precious gift.
A member of the group laughed and said to me, ` OK so go on tell me then why it’s the most precious thing and above the business, we are discussing`. I replied,` well to begin with the Now, The Present is all there is, there was never a time when it wasn’t if you think about it. The Now The Present is the only thing that is constant in your life, it will always be Now, The Present, think about it` He scoffed and said,` I don’t believe all that rubbish.’

That, of course, was his prerogative, but give it some thought, as I have done many times and you will begin to realize that there was nothing before Now, only memories; there is nothing in the future either, for there is no future, none of us knows what tomorrow holds or even the next few minutes. The future is Imagination. When you wake tomorrow morning where will you be? Once more In The Present, The Now, of course, where else?

There is always the Now, The Present, named so because it is a unique gift, a Present, the most precious part of our life so always be aware of The Present, The Now.

I am learning and experiencing this daily and enjoy being part of it, its a fantastic feeling.
